In our organization, we use this as it is a single source of data across all the teams in our company as it ensures a common database for our company. Since we are a service provider company- It ensures proper delivery of services by capturing and managing the Configuration Items, otherwise known as CI(s) by ensuring uniform data flow between multiple departments of our organization.
